Area Sales Manager

  • The Role

    We are currently seeking a wholesale specialist to take on the role of Area Sales Manager in our newly established trading company in UK. Based in London, reporting to the Wholesale Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing the existing client base and sourcing potential new customers to increase our market share.

    In order to succeed, you will need to possess excellent time management skills and be able to work autonomously. You will have advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong and long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers. You will also be an integral part of an export’s sales team of Biovela Group.

    Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
    • Actively developing new sales opportunities in Retail sales channel in UK – Grocery stores, Supermarkets & Hypermarkets, HoReCa, Food halls and others
    • Maintaining the existing client portfolio
    • Identifying opportunities to develop Biovela Group product portfolio on UK market including fresh meat, meat products and meat snacks
    • Monitoring and research market trends and consumer preferences
    • Leading presentations, negotiations and contract signing procedures
    • Delivering high level customer service
    • Providing technical support to your clients in the form of product specifications
    What we expect you to have:
    • 3+ years’ FMCG sales experience (preferably fresh meet or meet products categories)
    • Track record of sales within the industry
    • Expertise on FMCG sales channels and consumer categories
    • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Sound computer processing skills
    • Existing sales experience within the Food Service industry
    • Ability to work autonomously and deal with a variety of customers
