You will be joining IT department of 20+ specialists. Your team consists of the Head of Delivery, Project Manager, Scrum Master/ Product owner, 4 internal developers (1 tech lead), 2 QA engineers, and 2 Business analysts

Description

THE TEAM: you will be joining IT department of +20 specialists. Your team consists of the Head of Delivery, Project Manager, Scrum Master/ Product owner, 4 internal developers (1 tech lead), 2 QA engineers, and 2 Business analysts. As you see the team is very structured so you can focus on your area only.

THE PRODUCT: You will be working with applications and TAX refund management products: internal tax refund management system (applications management, payment part, reports, data exchange with Channel Partners and Tax refund authorities in Europe, etc.), Self-Service portal for our customers and partners. Software has centralized, multi-tenant part, different types of interfaces are used for data exchange. Products are already running in production and being in constant development/ improvement cycles. So, it’s new functionality development, improvement/ updates of architecture and infrastructure, some bug fixing.

GET READY TO:

  • Take hands-on role of business analyst/proxy product owner within IT development and implementation
  • Describe and structure business requirements at implementation of technology solutions in a cost-effective and efficient way
  • Cooperate with business and IT units to define, analyse, document and further manage requirements throughout system or business development life-cycle
  • Identify business process simplification opportunities (process mapping) and assesses feasibility of possible technical solutions
  • Support product owners with fulfilling daily tasks (support, application management, testing)
  • Continuously raise ideas for optimization and improvement of used solutions and/or processes
  • Shape and determinate unit’s targets and take needed actions to reach the objectives within the team or department

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience as IT Business Analyst, IT Project consultant or IT PM
  • Extensive experience in gathering requirements, customer needs and translating them to analytics specifications
  • Knowledge in preparing functional/non-functional requirements, use case models and process flow diagrams
  • Experience with using JIRA and Confluence for documentation, task-handling and communication would be considered as an advantage
  • Strong customer focus and understanding of customer needs
  • Analytical thinking and quick decision making
  • Fluent in English
  • Initiative and high-level of responsibility, including ability to execute judgment in own area of competence and strong delivery capability
  • Effective communication, conflict, and roadblocks management skills
  • Ability to talk the „same language“ with your team’s experts as well as with business owners and be able to facilitate technical discussions
