.NET Backend Developer

About the role: Companial’s R&D team is looking for a Backend Developer to join our skilled product team that always strives for excellence and uses the best practices and tools to achieve it.

The position is based in Vilnius, Kaunas, or can be remote.

Selection process:

Responsibilities:
• Build web applications using C#/.NET 8 or later for various Companial business initiatives.
• Collaborate with your team to evaluate projects and identify the best solutions.
• Follow modern coding standards and work with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
• Learn, share knowledge, and contribute to a thriving team environment.

What we expect:
• 3+ years of experience building backend services in C#/.NET.
• Hands-on contributor to architecture discussions (no formal tech lead responsibility required).
• Experience working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum or Kanban) teams.
• Reliability in delivering tasks end-to-end with minimal oversight.
• Good command of English.

Nice to have:
• Experience with any cloud environment (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Experience with Cosmos DB and Azure SQL Database.
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Graph API, Managed Identities, and Conditional Access.
• Integration experience with Partner Center or other Microsoft internal APIs.
• Awareness of security and compliance standards (ISO, GDPR, CIS Benchmarks).
• Familiarity with microservices concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker.
• Experience using PowerShell.
