The company is working with international companies ranging from start-ups and SMEs to publicly listed companies. Fortis Media is in a process of growth with a plan to reach 20 members onboard by the end of 2021.

The role of a Paid Social/Programmatic Specialist is a newly established position due to the growth of the team. The Paid Social/Programmatic Specialist will work with one of the biggest Fortis Media’s clients – Churchill Downs Incorporated. It is the parent company of Churchill Downs. The company has evolved from one racetrack in Louisville, Kentucky, to a multi US-state, publicly traded company with racetracks, casinos and the United States’ leading online wagering company among its portfolio of businesses. The company currently has more than 4,500 employees.

Description

About the role:

Paid Social/Programmatic Specialist executes paid social campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and similar channels to drive best results. Develops, optimizes and executes plans for display ads and campaigns ensuring the business goals are met (budget optimization, ROI etc.). Analyzes data from previous reports, provides insights and suggests improvements. Provides tactical solutions for optimizing results of display campaigns. Works closely with Ad Ops team to drive best results possible.

Your team: you will work in a team of more than 10 professionals (on-page SEO Specialists, off-page SEO Specialists, Content Manager, Ad Ops specialists, Project Manager). The internal marketing team of Churchill Downs will also be your colleagues.

The main tasks of a Paid Social/Programmatic Specialist will include:

  • Plan, create, run, optimize paid social and display campaigns
  • Track, report and analyze website analytics data
  • Effectively manage campaign budgets
  • Optimize ad copy
  • A/B test display and social media ads
  • Active monitoring of competition
  • Active search for new effective channels/technologies to improve performance
  • Be a hell of a teammate:)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in paid social and display advertising
  • Very good and proven knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with Google Campaign Manager or equivalent product
  • Strong analytical, operations, and process implementation skills; detail oriented.
  • Able to work as directed, lead processes, balance multiple tasks, and work in a team.
  • Experience or direct knowledge of online planning process.
  • Experience with US market would be an advantage
  • High competency level in MS Office products including Excel and Power Point
  • Agency background preferred
  • Fluency in English – written and spoken
