Position Summary
As the Trade & Shopper Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing retail marketing strategies that enhance shopper engagement, increase conversion at the point of sale, and drive footfall and loyalty across our store network. You’ll play a central role in aligning commercial objectives with shopper-centric marketing solutions and supporting product launches, seasonal campaigns, and category growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement trade marketing plans across multiple retail formats, both physical and digital.
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales Operations teams to plan and execute promotional calendars and shopper activation campaigns.
- Lead a small team of data analysts and manage department budget.
- Use shopper insights and analytics to influence product placement, pricing strategies, and in-store communication.
- Manage the production and distribution of POS materials, promotional displays, and store-level signage.
- Explore and develop possibilities of collecting market data (Nielsen and etc.) and play active role to define standards for reporting and analysis.
- Work closely with IT department to develop resources for AI analytics to enhance data analysis and automate insights generation.
- Evaluate and optimise the performance of trade promotions and retail campaigns through data analysis and shopper behaviour tracking.
- Foster strong partnerships with suppliers and vendors to support co-branded initiatives and joint marketing efforts.
- Ensure alignment of marketing efforts with the company’s overall retail strategy and customer experience goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in retail data analytics, shopper marketing, or retail marketing, ideally within a retail chain, FMCG, or supplier environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of retail environments, consumer purchasing behavior, and omnichannel marketing.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in marketing analytics and ROI measurement.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in a one of Baltic languages is a plus.
- Willingness to travel regionally (Baltics) as needed.
