The role combines geotechnical assessment, engineering design, site investigation, project support, and client engagement, with a strong focus on practical, cost-effective solutions for challenging ground conditions. Geotechnical Engineer is based in Vilnius office and works on projects across Baltics.<\/p>\n<h5>Key Responsibilities<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Assess geotechnical and structural problems including foundation settlement, ground instability, voids, weak soils, and differential movement.<\/li>\n<li>Review geotechnical reports, site investigation data, structural information, drawings, and monitoring results.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and assess ground-improvement solutions using URETEK technologies, including expanding polyurethane injection and related remediation techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake engineering calculations, feasibility assessments, and technical designs.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare engineering reports, method statements, calculations, proposals, and technical documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Provide engineering input during project planning, estimating, and tendering.<\/li>\n<li>Attend project sites to investigate ground conditions, assess existing structures, and support construction activities.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with project managers, construction teams, structural engineers, surveyors, consultants, and clients.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor project performance and evaluate treatment effectiveness using appropriate survey, instrumentation, and geotechnical data.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot unexpected site or ground conditions and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure engineering work complies with relevant standards, legislation, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical advice to clients and contribute to business development and pre-sales activities where required.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate project records and contribute to continuous improvement of URETEK&#8217;s engineering methodologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Required Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years experience in geotechnical engineering, foundation engineering, ground improvement, construction, or structural remediation.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation systems, settlement, bearing capacity, and ground behaviour.<\/li>\n<li>Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline; postgraduate geotechnical or foundation engineering qualifications are advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret geotechnical investigation and laboratory data.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with engineering calculations and technical reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Strong site investigation and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with relevant engineering and technical software.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of construction practices and site safety.<\/li>\n<li>Full driver&#8217;s licence and willingness to travel to project sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Key Competencies<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Practical and solutions-focused approach to engineering problems.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and numerical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to translate complex geotechnical issues into practical construction solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Commercial awareness and understanding of project constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to safety, quality, and professional engineering standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>We offer<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional development and career growth opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Friendly, collaborative, and supportive working environment.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible working hours and a healthy work-life balance.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to work on technically challenging and meaningful projects.<\/li>\n<li>Salary: 3000-4000 EUR gross.<\/li>\n<li>Performance-based bonus system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"template":"","miestas":[44],"sritis":[55,51],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.9.1 -
