Each year, a list of the most promising professions is published to help pupils make more responsible choices about what to study, and to help adults who want to change career paths to choose genuinely promising professions that will open up career opportunities.

What are the most popular professions? The list is below.

For years, marketing management has been one of the best choices for those who want to have a job but also want to earn well. It is often said to be an example of an interesting profession because it requires creativity and, at the same time, a constant, immediate response to change. The most promising profession is an IT professional with a background in marketing management. He or she is an excellent moderator of the need of today’s entrepreneurs to use digital marketing to spread the word about their services or goods. Of course, it will take a long time before such a position is available, but the important thing is that it is possible.

Alongside marketing, content creators are also getting more attention. These are relatively new professions. Or rather, old ones that are being transformed into innovative ones. Who are content creators? They are copywriters, photographers, of course, video makers, creatives who generate ideas. Often, specialised courses are offered to learn how to create one or other type of content (higher education is not always required).

Probably the one of most promising professions in Lithuania is the one that is time-tested and always needed. These are health professionals. It is true that at the moment, in addition to medical professionals, there are also beauty professionals, who also need a medical degree.

And although every year the medical sphere is becoming more and more computerised and one can enjoy fast and accurate results, human work is still necessary. What are the professions? Nurses, biochemists, biotechnologists, as well as cosmetologists and others.

The most popular professions, not only in Lithuania but also worldwide, are those that are related not only to health but also to money. So, this year, those who choose the profession of accountant can be glad that the paths will be open to them. However, it is worth pointing out that most offers go to senior accountants with higher qualifications. Again, although there are now many programmes that make accountancy much simpler, it is still by far the most promising profession abroad.
