US Country Manager – Air Freight Logistics

Our client – Venipak Holding ( is an internationally operating company for more than 15 years providing express parcel delivery services and other logistic solutions in West and Nordic Europe, China and US. Company is an active participant in the expansion of the parcel delivery market, and by dedicating a lot of attention to long-term links with clients it ensures the highest quality of service. Every day Venipak delivers more than 45.000 packages for more than 6000 corporate clients.

At the moment we are looking for an experienced Air Freight Logistics professional capable of taking the position of Country Manager of our new established company in US, New York, NY. The person will be responsible for developing Venipak consolidated avia shipping services in US as a part of „North America-Europe-Asia“ logistics chain.

  • Work closely with international management team to support a wide range of business development activities, including channel partner network development, strategy formulation and service requirements
  • Form and lead local team to meet the organization’s expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment
  • Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization’s and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the Venipak Group
  • Expand current network of partners in US regarding Warehouse, Customs and Air Freight operations as well as First and Last mile services
  • Establish and manage revenue goals (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for assigned market and customers
  • Collect market and customer information and share the feedback with the sales, branch and international management team
  • Ensure pricing and stock levels are appropriate for the achievement of business goals and objectives
  • Interact and collaborate closely with the tender management teams in Europe and China
  • Investigate lost sales and customer accounts
  • Track, collate and interpret sales figures
  • Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
  • Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts

  • 3+ years’ Air Freight Logistics experience as Execution, Sales or Process development manager working on US market
  • Proven track record managing a sales organization
  • Proven sales leadership, growing and managing a successful sales team
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a solid financial skillset
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and make strategic business decisions when required
  • Track record of superior performance metrics
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Willing to take on additional tasks as required
