Your duties are to help project team members in solving tasks in ITSM tool (IVANTI) or maybe You’re capable to configure forms, dashboards, notifications or maybe whole processes for small clients.

  • You’ve built a peer network that is available for support when needed. You enjoy a high degree of autonomy when completing Your tasks.
  • You’re looking beyond separate tasks towards responsibilities in multiple projects that will help clients improve their business and IT.

You will work in a team of 12 members (what are the roles of those members?). We believe that in future You will be able to handle these responsibilities:

  • Create and transition operations to new and improved processes and procedures for IT Service Desk operations using the IVANTI platform, as well as the ongoing analysis of process improvement.
  • Determine Client needs, design solutions and evaluate high-level design issues relating to platform, enterprise software and integrations with other systems.
  • Create requirements, test plans, test cases and complete testing activities for any IVANTI functionality.
  • Collect, consolidate and analyse metrics to facilitate decisions related to service improvements.
  • Design, develop and build Forms/Workflows/Catalog Items/Metrics/Reports/Dashboards based on Client requirements.
  • Observes change and release management processes to fulfil responsibilities.
  • Provide assistance and resolution to issues/concerns/queries raised by Clients.
  • Work directly with Project teams to evaluate current and future changes to the environment and develop process solutions.
  • Build initial activity plans and adheres to larger project plans to finish tasks as assigned and update stakeholders of date/scope/task changes.
  • Ensure project dependencies are clearly defined, documented and communicated appropriately in terms of time required to complete.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical consultants and business/project team members.
  • Create detailed documentation to explain, retain and transfer information/knowledge to other technical teams or Clients.
  • Guide and mentor future applicants within reach of Your experience.

You might wonder what sort of skills You need for this position. Applicants are accepted from a wide background and with varied experiences, from just starting out to several years of experience.

Minimum education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology-related discipline; OR few years of equivalent, relevant experience can be substituted for a degree.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently and take initiative to identify, track, and resolve issues.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability and eagerness to learn.

Stuff that we see as highly beneficial:

  • Demonstrated experience in ITSM, including implementations.
  • Understanding of ITSM technical and functional design requirements (ITIL Foundation).
  • Experience in configuration and implementation of IVANTI or similar ITSM tools (Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management or other ITSM applications).
  • Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL).
