IT Product Owner – Cybersecurity SaaS

We are looking for an experienced IT Product Owner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and driving the development of our cybersecurity SaaS product. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders in operations, including development, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure that our products meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.

The team:

We are an ambitious, fast-growing team that is scaling rapidly. Today, we are 28 people strong — and by the end of February, we expect to grow to around 70. This pace of expansion reflects both the demand for our product and the high standards we set for ourselves as a company. Our team is highly professional, outcome-driven, and deeply committed to delivering exceptional results. We operate with very few junior-level employees, and in our technical organisation, there are no juniors at all. This allows us to move quickly, make high-quality decisions, and maintain a strong culture of ownership and excellence.

We work in a flexible hybrid environment. Part of the team is based in our Vilnius office, while the majority works in a hybrid setup, and several colleagues operate fully remotely. Our recruitment process:

Recruitment process will consist of two interviews, one with CTO and Chief Product Owner, another one, short one, with CEO in final hiring stages. Discussions will be held with PO‘s, small test task will be provided to understand the thought process, task will be not useful for Copla‘s product or deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Key responsibility is becoming a product growth enabler.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements, translating them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product improvement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and decisions.
• Monitor and analyze product performance, using data-driven insights to inform product decisions and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain product documentation, including release notes, user guides, and training materials.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a SaaS environment, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and market trends.
• Certification in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management is a plus.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of cybersecurity and compliance concepts: risk management, audit workflows, evidence collection, policy management, security tooling.
• Ability to understand and articulate needs of CISOs, auditors, and compliance teams.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS and multi-tenant platform architectures.
• Background in GRC tooling (e.g., Drata, Vanta, Tugboat, Sprinto, OneTrust, Thoropass).
• Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIS2, DORA).
• Knowledge of AI productization: prompt engineering, LLM UX patterns, automation triggers.
• Experience scaling SaaS platforms: multitenancy, permissions models, data models.
• Experience working with analytics for product usage insights.
