ERP Product Director

  • Overview

    ERP Product Director owns the vision, strategy, and execution of our internally developed ERP product. This role is responsible for shaping a scalable, market-leading ERP platform that solves real customer problems, supports multiple industries, and evolves with changing business needs.

    You’ll lead the ERP product organization, partner closely with sales and marketing teams, and ensure our ERP delivers clear customer value while supporting sustainable growth.

    What You’ll Do
    Own the Product:
    • Define and articulate the long-term vision for our ERP platform, balancing innovation, usability, and scalability.
    • Translate company strategy and market insights into a clear, prioritized product business plan.
    • Work hands-on with engineering, architecture, deployment and infrastructure to deliver high-quality ERP capabilities.
    Grow the Team:
    • Lead, mentor, and scale a teams of product engineering, deployment and customer service (20+ FTE).
    • Build a high-performance team culture (quality, accountability, collaboration).
    • Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and team structure.
    • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
    Customer & Market Focus:
    • Be deeply connected to customers—understanding workflows, pain points, and outcomes across different industries.
    • Partner with Sales and Support to incorporate real-world feedback into product decisions.
    • Track ERP market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to keep the product competitive.
    Platform & Architecture Thinking:
    • Drive decisions around extensibility, configuration vs. customization and ecosystem integrations.
    • Ensure the ERP platform is scalable, secure, and cloud-optimised.
    • Balance short-term customer needs with long-term platform health and technical debt management.
    Go-to-Market Partnership:
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on product positioning, messaging, pricing, and packaging.
    • Support major deals, demos, and customer conversations as the ERP product expert.
    • Enable internal teams with clear product documentation, roadmaps, and release communications.
    Metrics & Outcomes:
    • Define and track success metrics such as adoption, retention, customer satisfaction, and revenue impact.
    • Use data to inform prioritization and validate product decisions.
    • Own the ERP product revenues, costs and financial plan.
    What We’re Looking For
    Required:
    • 5+ years of experience in product management or product leadership roles (PO, PM, CTO, CEO) in product based company.
    • Proven experience of managing teams of engineers, analysts and PM’s.
    • Proven experience building and scaling a complex business-oriented or consumer-oriented applications.
    • Strong collaboration skills with engineering, UX, sales, and customer-facing teams.
    • Ability to think strategically while staying close to day-to-day product execution.
    Nice to Have:
    • Experience leading a multi-module ERP platform or complex ERP solutions.
    • Background in SaaS, cloud-native architectures, or platform ecosystems.
    • Deep understanding of core ERP domains (finance, supply chain, manufacturing, HR, order management, etc.).
