Introduction of the Need:
Havas Lithuania is looking for a Head of Growth & Digital Marketing Operations to join one of the agencies within the group.
This is a newly created role that marks a new stage in the agency’s growth and its upcoming integration into an international network. The primary objective of the position is to lead the transformation of the agency’s digital marketing services in line with international standards, introduce new digital marketing capabilities, and manage the overall transformation process.
The role will directly lead 3-4 team leads, whose teams currently include 20+ digital specialists in total. We are looking for a leader with strong, proven management skills and a solid technical understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem.
This position will be part of the Havas Lithuania leadership team while also being responsible for the management and growth of one of the agencies within Havas Lithuania. In addition, the role will serve as a key authority for digital media teams, guiding and making high-level decisions related to the development and advancement of the group’s digital capabilities.
Recruitment Process:
1. Cultural Fit Interview
An introductory conversation designed both for the Havas Lithuania leadership team to get to know you and for you to learn more about the company’s values, culture, and ways of working.
2. Strategic Session
A discussion with the Havas Lithuania leadership team, during which the long-term objectives of the role, business transformation expectations, and the broader strategic context will be presented. This session will also include an open discussion, where you will have the opportunity to learn more about the group’s vision and share your own perspective.
3. Final Interview
A final conversation with the selected candidate, during which the formal offer will be presented, career growth opportunities will be discussed, and a detailed compensation and benefits package will be shared for consideration.
What You’ll Own:
- Leading the digital agency’s transformation strategy from approval through planning and full implementation.
- Leading the team and acting as the key point of contact for team leads in strategic decision-making related to team development, digital marketing strategy, and the introduction of new digital marketing services.
- Overseeing and improving daily operations across performance marketing, media buying, and client delivery teams.
- Collaborating with the international Havas Group team in the transformation process, implementing the group’s digital marketing service standards, introducing new digital channels, and defining relevant KPIs. This will involve business travel to Havas Group offices across Europe.
- Driving the optimization of internal processes, reporting, and performance KPIs to support scalable growth and operational excellence.
- Driving business development initiatives and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Supporting key client relationships in special cases when strategic leadership
is required. - Working closely with Havas Lithuania’s HR to support team building, onboarding of new members, and the attraction of new talent for emerging digital marketing teams.
- Monitoring and responding to the activities of competitor digital marketing agencies (Meta, Google, programmatic, paid social, paid search, etc.).
- Acting as the agency’s public representative in the media, advocating for its interests and communicating its public stance.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in digital advertising and marketing.
- Proven track record in leading high-performing teams and orchestrating cross-functional collaboration to deliver business impact.
- Experience in a digital advertising agency environment, working with some of the largest brands in the market while holding a leadership role.
- Technical understanding of digital performance marketing channels and metrics (while this role does not require hands-on campaign management, such knowledge will be valuable when introducing new services to clients).
- Demonstrated ability to drive business growth through strong commercial insight and strategic development.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute tactically.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to assess the agency’s financial performance (collaborating with the Havas Group Lithuania CFO) and determine the investments required to support growth.
- Ability to thrive in a growth-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to leverage the Havas Group network by building relationships, adapting established international practices, sharing expertise, and applying best-in-class digital marketing approaches learned from agencies across diverse markets.
